Your donation directly supports The Rock Ballymacavany Seed Library, a new cross-border community initiative dedicated to preserving Ireland’s collection of heritage and landrace vegetable, fruit, herb, flower, and medicinal plant seeds.
Based in the Termon Complex, Pettigo, and open to the public on a donation basis, our seed library aims to strengthen seed sovereignty, biodiversity, and local resilience throughout communities on both sides of the border.
By contributing, you help us:
- Safeguard rare and traditional seed varieties
- Grow and collect locally adapted, climate-resilient seeds
- Provide free or donation-based access to the public
- Offer education, workshops, and community growing support
- Build a long-term resource for future generations
Every donation—big or small—directly fuels the work of keeping seeds in the hands of the community.
Together, we can grow resilience, preserve heritage, and cultivate a thriving future.
